Im going back in time to canadas begining and i need to know questions that settlers would ask before moving?

They didn't ask many questions. Most were fleeing certain death in their homeland--starvation,persecution,etc.--- and anything would be better. My great-grandparents arrived in Nov.1904 to a prairie snow storm with 2 infants. Had it not been for the Indians taking them in for the winter, they would have surely died.
