Can you help me find faith?

I was raised lutheran, my father is a minister. I want to accept Jesus into my heart but I have so much trouble doing it. I'm looking for someone who is very knowledgeable in canonical scripture and preferably apochryphal and gnostic scripture as well. I am looking for someone who can teach me and carry intelligent conversations to help resolve and explain some aspects of holy scripture. Being a preacher's sone I missed a lot revolting as a teenager, I also have a very ytical mind which poses it's own problems to faith. Do you know someone, or are you someone with the time, knowledge, and desire to help me? I've read the bible through and I've listened to the bible in mp3 a few times completely. Where else can I find what I am looking for?
