How do you uninstall windows defender?

its been bothering me ever since i bought this computer at february i keep getting runtime errors when i try to install current games. same thing goes for running them. i don't want no newbie answers such as start->control panel->add/delete program. its is not shown there (Please don't answer them if you never used vista before, its different.) thank you.
